In a small bowl, combine broth, maple syrup, mustard, ketchup and cornstarch. Reserve the mixture while preparing the pork tenderloin.
Cut the pork tenderloin into approximately ½ cm (½ cm) slices.
In a nonstick skillet, brown half the slices on each side in half the butter. Place the golden slices on a plate. Repeat with the rest of the meat and the rest of the butter.
Add the onion and continue cooking for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the broth mixture and the meat. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Salt and pepper. When serving, add a fillet of pear flavoured maple syrup on the pork slices.
